Gamma Function (𝛤)

• is one commonly used extension of the factorial function to complex numbers
• is defined for all complex numbers except the non-positive integers
• for any positive integer 𝑛:
  • 𝐺𝑎𝑚𝑚𝑎(𝑛) = 𝛤(𝑛) = (𝑛 - 1)!
